      The Oud is a popular  musical instrument in the Middle East, Africa and Greece. It has got ten, eleven or thirteen and it is made of wood. This musical instrument is played on special occasions and at family parties. In museums, we see pictures of Ancient Egyptians playing this instrument.

       

       

      The accordion is a German instrument and it is almost two hundred and fifty years old. It isn’t very big, but it is heavy and it looks like a small . It is made of wood and metal and you play it with both hands. You play the keys with one hand and you press the buttons with the other. As you play, you push and pull the accordion to make music. Some accordions have got thirty-seven or forty-one keys and many . The Germans play it during traditional holidays and on special occasions.

       

       

      The didgeridoo is a long pipe and it is made of . Some pipes are three metres long. The longer a didgeridoo is, the deeper the sound. We don’t know how old didgeridoos are exactly, but drawings on rocks show that they could be 1,500 years old. You have to  to play the didgeridoo. Aboriginal people play this instrument during special ceremonies like weddings and funerals.
