La mesa está en el centro de la habitación. = The table is in the center of the room.
¿Te gusta el sofá aquí, entre los dos sillones? = Do you like the sofa here, between the two armchairs?
- We can use prepositions and adverbs of place without de when the reference point is not mentioned.
¿Dónde ponemos el cuadro: a la derecha de la ventana o a la izquierda? = Where should we put the painting, to the right of the window or to the left?
Remember: de + el = del
COMPARATIVES OF INEQUALITY (MORE)
WITH NOUNS Ciudad de México tiene más habitantes que Guadalajara.
= Mexico City has more inhabitants than Guadalajara. |
WITH ADJECTIVES Ciudad de México es más grande que Guadalajara.
= Mexico City is larger than Guadalajara. |
WITH VERBS En Ciudad de México la gente sale más que en Guadalajara.
= In Mexico City people go out more than in Guadalajara. |

Tanto needs to agree with the noun it modifies: tanto/-a/-os/-as.
