      Recognising adjectives

Remember: Adjectives in English come before the noun. They do not change to agree with the noun they describe.

      They’re good, reliable workers.

Adjectives describing people, things and feelings

      1. Many adjectives formed from verbs end in –ed or –ing. They are the same as the past participle (-ed) and present participle (-ing) of the verb. bored – boring (to bore) interested – interesting (to interest) tired – tiring (to tire)
