Wonderful Whales!
Food: Whales eat fish, krill and tiny shellfish. They can eat as much as two tonnes of fish a day.
Food: Because whales live in the sea, they eat other fish. They eat big and small fish and can eat two tonnes a day. My cat likes fish, too!
Body: A male whale has got a very tall fin that looks like a triangle but a female has got a shorter one. It also curves back.
Body: You can tell the difference between a male and a female by looking at their fins. One looks like a triangle and is tall, the other one is shorter and curved.
Group name: Pod (or sometimes school). Whales travel in groups of two or more, and large pods can have more than one hundred whales.
Group name: You can call a group of whales a pod or a school. I think calling them a school of whales is funny.
